On Sunday night, the Vikings played host to the Green Bay Packers in the first regular season game at US Bank Stadium. The Vikings came away with a 17-14 victory to sit atop the NFC North at 2-0. Sam Bradford was remarkable in his Minnesota debut, and Stefon Diggs appears to be an up-and-coming star at wide receiver. The defense contained Aaron Rodgers and Trae Waynes came away with an interception late to help seal the win. However, 2012 NFL MVP Adrian Peterson left the game early with a knee injury, and today, Zimmer announce that Peterson has a torn meniscus with no timetable set for his return.
